Rupp Arena, Arts & Entertainment District
The Fayette PVA has assembled an interactive map for properties included in the Rupp Arena, Arts & Entertainment District. Included below the map is a listing of all included properties as well as further information.
Lexington's Rupp Arena was completed in 1976, and the Lexington Fayette County Urban Government has recently initiated talks to build a new area development center. A task force was appointed by Mayor Jim Gray and includes representatives from the Lexington business and government community, as well as University of Kentucky officials.
The current agenda for the Rupp District involves meetings to plan financing and design, and outreach to the community.
